Madalyn J. Fairbanks is a Butler County native and focuses her practice in the areas of criminal law, juvenile law, domestic relations, and civil litigation.
After graduating from The Ohio State University with Honors in 2012, Madalyn went on to receive her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2015.
At the outset of her career, Madalyn worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Bristol County, Massachusetts, where she primarily prosecuted financial crimes. In this role, Madalyn maintained a heavy caseload and gained extensive trial advocacy experience. In addition, she trained and supervised other attorneys, built and maintained relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement, and actively participated in complex financial investigations and charging decisions.
After relocating back Ohio with her family, Madalyn worked for the Ohio Attorney General’s Office where she represented Ohio EPA’s Division of Materials and Waste Management and the State Fire Marshall’s Bureau of Underground Storage Tanks and Regulations in civil environmental enforcement actions. Madalyn engaged in all aspects of litigation in State and Appellate Courts. During her tenure at the Ohio Attorney General, Madalyn received a letter of recognition for her work on a high profile case, against a Cincinnati-based company that engaged in decades-long environmental violations.
After a successful career in government, Madalyn entered into private practice beginning in 2023. Since then, Madalyn has successfully represented clients in courts across Butler and Warren Counties. Madalyn’s passion for the legal profession translates into how she successfully advocates for her clients.
